Originally from Toronto, Chris Robitaille has been rendering hand-drawn maps of national parks and worldwide travel destinations for almost 30 years. After some years spent as a storyboard artist for one of the world's largest ad agencies, Chris fell in love with Kenya while traveling there and was immediately "drawn" to its' wildlife, landscapes and culture. At that point, he knew immediately that he wanted no more of the corporate "rat race of deadlines" and simply wanted to paint what inspired HIM and NOT everyone else.
In addition to these uniquely original "story" maps, Chris' original oil paintings can be found in private and public galleries throughout the U.S., Canada, Africa, UAE, and the U.K. |
