What It Means To Volunteer For SLAM
SLAM Wants You to Volunteer!!
Volunteering is a great way to be part of the fun at SLAM events! SLAM hosts some of Bozeman’s most vibrant celebrations that support Montana’s creative community. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities to suit your interests at any of the SLAM functions.
The Summer Festival is our biggest event of the year and when we need the most help: Are you a music lover? Volunteer for the stage crew! Do you love supporting artists? Be part of the demonstration tent crew! Have a gift with coaxing creativity out of youngsters? Help out at the family activities tent! Are you a self-proclaimed extrovert? Volunteer to help at the SLAM info booth!
Volunteers are incredibly vital to the set-up and tear down of SLAM events. Without the generosity of their time, the festivals could not come to fruition. Plus, it is a great way to meet new people, get some exercise, and get a free t-shirt! Grab some friends and make a day out of giving back to your community. But what if there are no festivals on the calendar? Drop us a line and we will contact you when we are planning our next event. Whatever your skills, we would love to have you as a part of our team!
Join the Board!
If you have skills, services, or ideas that would help SLAM in its many endeavors, let us know! Consider applying for the board. An operation as large as SLAM has a lot of particulars that require help from a variety of professionals including lawyers, accountants, carpenters, social media experts, and more.
If you do not have the bandwidth to be a full board member but would be willing to offer your services pro-bono, discounted, or at cost, we would love to hear from you. Such altruism helps us serve the community to the best of our potential.
