Ruth Kronfuss and Stacie Costello
Our collaboration began more than 10 years ago when two friends found that we shared a common interest in making unique jewelry that we'd want to wear ourselves. Our interest quickly expanded into setting up a work studio in Bozeman, MT where we use precious metal clay (PMC) to create fine silver jewelry & some limited 22-carat gold PMC. Our designs, inspired by the beauty in nature and life, include sterling silver findings, ear wires & chain. Some pieces incorporate leather, semi-precious & natural stones.
There is variety in our designs. No two pieces are exactly alike & many creations are one-of-a-kind whether hand cut, stamped, etched, carved, molded, or shaped. We love to experiment with new ideas on forming and finishing pieces including using recycled clay. When a wonderful couple purchasing some of our pieces asked what our creative process is like, the happy response was, "We start by opening a bottle of wine...." We are great friends who share a passion that continues to grow.
